This leave-on AHA concentrate is centred on Lactic Acid — one of the gentlest and most effective AHAs — at a 10% concentration that delivers meaningful exfoliation without the harshness of stronger acids. Lactic Acid works at the surface level, dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells and promoting natural cell renewal to reveal brighter, smoother skin over time.
Sodium Hyaluronate (1% Hyaluronic Acid) keeps the skin hydrated as it renews, preventing the dryness often associated with acid exfoliants. Organic White Tea and Sage Extracts add antioxidant and soothing support. Use 1–2 times per week in the evening and always follow with SPF the next morning. Suitable for all skin types.

Is 10% Lactic Acid too strong for beginners?
Lactic Acid is one of the gentlest AHAs — gentler than Glycolic Acid — because its larger molecule size means it penetrates more slowly. 10% is an effective concentration for noticeable results without being aggressive. If you’re new to acid exfoliants, start with once a week and observe how your skin responds before increasing frequency.
Do I really need to use SPF the morning after?
Yes — this is non-negotiable with AHA exfoliants. AHAs remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells, which temporarily increases UV sensitivity. Skipping SPF after acid use can worsen pigmentation rather than improve it. SPF 30+ is the minimum; SPF 50 is recommended.
Can I use this with the Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner?
We recommend using them on separate evenings rather than together. Both are acid exfoliants — alternating between them gives you variety in exfoliation without over-exfoliating. For example, use the Glycolic Toner Monday, the AHA Concentrate Thursday. Always monitor your skin’s response.
Will I experience purging when I start using this?
Some people experience a brief purging phase — increased breakouts or congestion — when first introducing AHA exfoliants, as the increased cell turnover brings existing congestion to the surface faster. This typically resolves within 2–4 weeks. If breakouts persist beyond that or feel unusual, reduce frequency and consult a dermatologist.
